The AR Drone 2.0 is very neat, I have one and it is very stable, 300% improvements according to my opinion over the 1.0 (Two years ago it was introduced )! It seems to stand still better and the quick return of the motors seems to be more responsive. The Adapter ( Parrot AR Drone Lipo BALANCE CHARGER ) may use another source of power like a input voltage of 13.8-18 vdc. Which you may hook up with your car battery to charge the battery. Normal time for the battery’s should be 90 minutes. The Status of the Cells are those as Status, 1, 2 & 3. The Parrot AR Drone 2.0 does not have any status, just a LED which is Red and turn into Green when done for ~90 minutes on are Parrot Battery. The battery must be of the same Type, 3 Cells = 11.1 Volts. Or 3 cells = 3.7 Voltage X 3 = 11.1 Voltage. But, the battery output & input are the same volts or “E”, Amps or ” I ” & so the Watts are the same ” Watts ” with a ” P “, 10 C which mean the full power means the amps are up to 10 amps. C = Continuous Amperage Discharge. The Four prong is the Black, Yellow, Blue & Red Colors of the wire. Charge is a 1000 mAh or 1 A MAX. So, Version 1.0 Indoor Hulls may be adapted to 2.0, but not vice versa ( Backwards ) I have put the Indoor by taking of the glue and to move it to where the magnets strips are located.
